"The packing of our range of soft fruit requires a fine balance between speed and presentation to ensure we deliver accurate pack weights of the highest quality fruits."
Jack Knipscheer - Pack-house Manager, Beekers Berries
Beekers Berries, one of the largest modern progressive producers of strawberries, raspberries and blackberries in the Netherlands, is the latest international soft fruit producer to benefit from Marco's profit building Yield Control system (YCM). The 12 station YCM system has been installed in Beekers pack-house in Made, North Brabant and is bringing significant reductions in pack giveaway, whilst improving productivity.
The Marco system features their innovative optimisation software, which constantly monitors and adjusts target weight tolerances to maintain optimum pack weight consistency.
"The intuitive Marco system is very easy for our operators to use and has already reduced pack giveaway to fractions of a gram. This has a direct impact on our bottom line profitability."
